Everyone knows you wear black at funerals. By the same token, everyone knows you wear white at weddings. Actually, that’s not entirely true. Only one person is usually wearing white at weddings. The color of the bride’s dress often indicates her level of purity. For some people the traditional white dress is not appropriate. Whether or not white is appropriate for a bride is irrelevant to choosing the right color for the right occasion.

For some people , yellow can be a bright happy color. People who feel this way will enjoy seeing it and may have more yellow objects in their home than someone who does not. Blue can sometimes strike up calming images. Other people associate blue with sadness and depression.
